Tencell is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of electronic components with offices in the USA, UK, Denmark, and soon Japan. We have an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly expanding global team in the role of Database Administrator within our busy Harlow office.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining and managing the performance and security of our database. You will ensure the successful and accurate running of the data each day, troubleshoot any issues on behalf of all users, manage the security and recovery controls of the database, and apply any improvements and updates to the database.
You will have the autonomy to operate independently within a supportive team. At Tencell, we follow a comprehensive induction programme, and each employee has a personal 12-month development plan.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in database management
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Be able to work independently and with a passion for detail and organization
- Be proficient in working with and understanding large amounts of data
- Have the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at all levels
